June 2011 - The Angelo Donghia Foundation, a non-for-profit organization, announced twelve winners of its 2010 Student Scholarship Program in Interior Design. Cheryl Tague was among this year's panel of industry experts who judged the students' submissions to the Foundation.

The Foundation awards scholarships up to $30,000 for each deserving student who is entering their senior year in a Baccalaureate Degree Program in Interior Design. This year's winners included students from Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art Design, Ringling School of Art and Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Technology, School of Visual Arts, New York School of Interior Design, and O'More College of Design.

May 4, 2011 - The New York School of Interior Design presented the Green Design Awards to acknowledge individuals and businesses who have made outstanding contributions toward advancing the cause of sustainable design. Cheryl Tague was a member of the Green Design Nominating Committee, made up of individuals prominent in the world of sustainable interiors.

April 2010 - On the drawing board, Cheryl has designed a new home to be built in New York based on her favorite boutique hotel in the Dordogne region of France. The home will have thick masonry walls with today's superior insulation technology. Extensive use of reclaimed materials will add immediate character and charm. Please watch as we build this sustainable house in Westchester County.

February 2009 - For the second year, VERANDA along with Tiffany & Co. sponsored one of the most anticipated evenings of the New York winter social schedule, The New York Botanical Garden’s (NYBG) annual Orchid Dinner at the Rainbow Room. The evening featured a silent auction, dinner, dancing and exceptional orchid centerpieces created by more than thirty leading designers from the worlds of interior design, architecture, floral and landscape design. All proceeds support the development of the Garden’s orchid research collection.
